May your 2012 be filled with success, love, and happiness!
Work in Progress
I think I entirely overestimate my technical abilities. I mean, WHY do I need to redo my website again? I don’t know.
I am trying to keep things simpler this time though. Hopefully this will encourage me to post and maintain the website more often. Until then, bear with me. I promise I’ll post some real pictures soon.
Children Portraits: M
Last weekend, I decided to switch to a new host for this website. Clearly I have over-estimated my technical abilities, because the website is STILL not working properly. Ouch.
Fortunately, the blog is finally set up again!
A while back, I took some photos of this sassy young lady:
Is she gorgeous or what? To top it off, M is already so stylish and graceful at this young age.
Maternity Portraits: D+K
Women are beautiful as brides, but the pregnancy glow that women get is altogether otherworldly. I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to document this wonderful and fascinating moment in Karen’s life.
Love the look of anticipation on their faces!
Love this book! It’s so fitting:
Congratulations on your new baby girl!
Toddler Portraits: E
When E’s mother and I were brainstorming a theme for E’s second birthday portraits, I sent her a picture of a sweet little ice-cream cone hat. Not only did she make the hat, but E’s mom designed, built, and arranged this whole candy shoppe setup! It was perfect for her sweet little girl.
Impressive, right?
Anything goes at this age during a photoshoot, so when E decided she wanted to run around, we all obliged. Seriously though, I was more tired watching them than they were running. Ah, the beauty of youth.
And finally, who doesn’t love bubbles?

A Day in My Life
I recently took the plunge (FINALLY!!!) and bought an iPhone. Can I just say it is oh so awesome? I can now easily overshare my life with the world, all the time ;-)
Shall we start with some pictures I took throughout the day today? This is a bit extreme and is not a normal day for me, but it does illustrate how crazy my life gets sometimes.
1. My day started with getting to LAX at 6:00 AM:
2. I love this building!
3. Waiting for my flight:
4. To Oakland. Yep. There’s nothing there.
5. That’s because I’m actually going to San Francisco ;-)
6. After a meeting, had lunch here:
7. Then hopped right back on a plane:
8. And got back to LA by 3:30 PM:
As you can imagine, I’m beat now.
Baby Portraits: Reagan
I am long overdue for some baby portrait posts! Here’s a session I did (shamefully, back in October . . . and I just finally got around to blogging about it because let’s face it, I’m a horrible blogger):
Baby Reagan’s mother contacted me to do a session for the baby’s 100-day celebration. In Korean culture, 100 days in an important milestone in a person’s life. Reagan’s mother and I had been in contact via email for some time, so I was really excited to finally meet them and help document this milestone.
How sweet is she?
I loved all the expressions Reagan made!
